It was 1997 when El Bagolo Ristorantino was born from a long-cherished dream.
Osvaldo, a chef with years of experience gained all over the world, decided to return to his hometown — Sona, nestled in the morainic hills of Lake Garda — to create a place where he could showcase the best of Veronese cuisine, the surrounding area and beyond.
Today, together with his wife Marisa, a passionate sommelier, and his son Giancarlo, who has mastered the art of blending tradition and creativity, we continue to bring authentic flavours, ingredients of the highest quality and that warm, sincere hospitality that only a true family-run trattoria can offer to the table.
Our restaurant in Sona is an oasis of tranquillity and beauty: décor reminiscent of the inns of yesteryear, a cosy dining room and a beautiful summer garden where you can enjoy lunch or dinner surrounded by greenery, with birdsong and the breeze from the hills.
